A little bit about how I make

About HoHo Makes

I like taking everyday things apart, sometimes literally, always conceptually. Why? To figure out how they work, why people want them, and whether they’re really doing what people need.

In progress, as usual
A little idea, taking shape
Curious first Tinker, refine, repeat

A lot of inspiration comes from the everyday things people live with all the time. The objects that quietly shape routines, movement, and small moments throughout the day. When something catches my attention, I want to understand it inside out.

I’m always tinkering, learning new skills, and trying ideas across different materials and mediums. Some things start in 3D, some through a camera lens, some while painting or shaping by hand. But the goal stays the same, to make things that feel thoughtful, playful, and a little more personal.

Break it down

I like understanding how everyday things work before reimagining them in a different way.

Mix mediums

I’m always learning new skills and moving between materials, tools, and creative processes.

Make the ordinary better

I’m drawn to the little things people live with every day and how a small change can make them feel more personal.

The goal is simple

I want to make everyday life feel a little more personal. Even if it’s only a 1% difference, I feel grateful to be a small part of someone’s ordinary becoming a little less ordinary.
